Friday 20 November
11:30 – 13:00 | Breakout session 5
This workshop looks at how students act as drivers of social transformation and why institutions can struggle to engage with or support these movements. Drawing on interviews and case studies, including recent student protests, the session brings forward lived experiences of organising, resistance, and impact. These examples ground the discussion in real practices of collective action. Through short inputs, video material, and scenario-based group work, participants are invited to identify issues they care about and imagine their own forms of student-led change. The workshop creates space to share ideas and reflect on how agency, voice, and collective action can shape more responsive educational environments.
